Hi, I'm Elliot. I'm 10 years old and I live in Minnesota.

My family loves to go camping all year round.

In 2019 I came up with the idea to make fire starters because we were looking for a quick and easy way to light a fire while camping.

I went through many prototypes until I came up with the current design. It uses mostly recycled materials and creates a great fire quickly even when you have damp or wet firewood.

I make each fire starter by hand with some assistance from my parents.
